ASTROLABIO is a light and fluffy Italian yarn with a high Kid Mohair content, perfect for creating airy, warm and beautifully textured knitwear.
With 70% Kid Mohair, the yarn creates the characteristic soft, fluffy halo of mohair, while 30% Polyamide adds strength and stability to the delicate fibre.
One of the main advantages of ASTROLABIO is its versatile yardage of 500 m / 100 g (547 yd / 3.53 oz). Unlike extremely fine cone mohair yarns, ASTROLABIO can easily be knitted on its own as a single strand, creating a light and fluffy fabric. It can also be held together with other yarns to add softness, warmth, volume and texture.
