Sock MOSAICO is an Italian printed sock yarn combining the natural warmth of wool with the strength and durability of nylon.
The 80% wool / 20% nylon blend makes it particularly suitable for socks and other garments designed for frequent wear. Wool provides natural warmth and comfort, while nylon strengthens the yarn and increases resistance to abrasion.
With 400 m per 100 g, Sock MOSAICO is a classic Fingering / Sock weight yarn.
Thanks to its printed colouring, the yarn creates its own colour pattern as you knit. The distribution of colours depends on the number of stitches, gauge, knitting technique and size of the project, so the pattern may look different in every finished piece.

Although Sock MOSAICO is primarily designed as a sock yarn, it is also suitable for sweaters, cardigans, vests, hats, scarves, gloves, mittens and other everyday knitwear.

Feel & properties

Sock MOSAICO has a traditional woolly feel. It is not an ultra-soft extrafine merino yarn; its main advantage is the combination of natural warmth, practicality and durability.
The addition of 20% nylon makes it particularly suitable for garments that need to withstand frequent wear.
